In 2014, I started my farming journey with a vision of providing the community with fresh and high-quality eggs and meat. By 2020, our farm had established a good supply of these products, and we were thrilled with the progress we had made. However, just as we were beginning to see success, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and our country was forced into lockdown. This left us with a surplus of eggs and no market, resulting in significant losses when we sold our eggs to middlemen.

Heartbroken and devastated, we had no choice but to shut down the farm temporarily. But we refused to give up on our dream. Instead, we decided to focus on finding a solution and embarked on extensive research for egg value addition. We worked closely with private food laboratories and KEBS to carry out trials, and after much hard work, we finally succeeded in developing three new products: pasteurized whole eggs, pasteurized liquid egg white, and pasteurized liquid egg yolk.

These new products are a game-changer for our farm and the community. They are safe and can be added directly to recipes, such as homemade pancakes, cakes, and more. We are excited to be back in business, and we look forward to sharing our safe and nutritious egg products with everyone.
